Consultant in Podiatry & Biomechanics
A keen sportsman and former Rugby player for the RACING CLUB DE FRANCE, Christophe Champs got his drive and passion for Podiatry & Biomechanics at an early age while experiencing the benefits of orthotics on his own body and performances.
After graduating at the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PODOLOGY (75016 Paris), Christophe lived and worked in Paris, Toronto, Dubai, Monaco, London and in the Maldives where he gained experience in medical pedicures (Chiropody) using the Bastien Gonzalez method and designed insoles for 5 stars hotel (BGA insoles).
Christophe also worked for 7 years at DECATHLON and trained 9 of their stores about the technicalities of Running gear and footwear for brands including NIKE, ADIDAS, ASICS, MIZUNO, NEW BALANCE and house brand KALENJI.
Utilising this experience in R&D to treat his patients, Christophe believes orthotics, shoes and lacing methods play a big part of the puzzle when solving any body pain, referring to other therapists when necessary.
Based in London since 2016, Christophe founded PODO to make Podiatry accessible and affordable with PODO insoles & PODO insoles 2.0, previously available only in fitness studios. While developing FOOT FACT0R, an existing clinic near Oxford Circus, offering a different method in the capital, by making the orthotics during a 90 minutes appointment.
In April 2021, Christophe opened a brand new CLINIC & WORKSHOP on Mortimer Street, taking PODO and its ambassador to the next level, bringing in his expertise and experience, updating all the equipment and upgrading the software acquisition with GAIT & MOTION TECHNOLOGY, while the orthotics are still made on the same day and ready to wear at the end of the 90 minutes appointment.

Following the Covid Pandemic, Christophe joined PODO on a full time basis to support and reinforce the brand by bringing his expertise and building a strong team of ambassadors to spread the word on the importance of good foundation and the true potential of orthotics.
Christophe founded PODO and created PODO insoles & PODO insoles 2.0 previously available in fitness studios to make Podiatry accessible and affordable.
Besides Christophe was developing FOOT FACTOR, an existing clinic on Great Portland street.
Back in Europe, Christophe opened for Bastien Gonzalez a brand new studio within the Spa of the Metropole Hotel Monte-Carlo.
The success and press around those two years helped Christophe to close this venture and fly back to a bigger city and his favourite capital: London.
During those 6 months at the One&Only Reethi Rah Hotel , Christophe worked alongside very unique talents (colleagues and visiting practitioners) who taught him that "good enough never is"
A life changing experience while taking care of celebrities' feet and enjoying the Pacific ocean.
Following a meeting with Bastien Gonzalez in NYC, Christophe joined the Foot Virtuoso to manage one of his prestigious Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio within the One&Only Royal mirage.
Also developing for Bastien his new brand and very first BGA Insoles to be distributed around the world the following year.
Following numerous clinical experiences in Paris, Christophe moved to Canada to understand the difference between the European Podology and the North-American Podiatry.
Discovering the Merisman assessment and perfecting his English to access the most recent studies in his field.
Graduated in Chiropody (Medical skin and nails treatment) & Podiatry (Biomechanical assessment and orthotics making) at the
National institute of Podology.
Christophe has also been certified Regional Retail Trainer for Decathlon - Running department of 9 stores in France.
